Sarmad -- re: your broker, that information increases the likelihood of a downturn -- denial of the real risk, lack of foresight and inadequate defensive preparation. Re: 'techs are immune to mild inflation', you might want to consider the effect it has on the multiples investors put on tech stocks -- there is a reason why people say 'the stocks with high multiples get hurt the most when rates go up'. I do not mean to say that tech business will be affected, but stock prices sure will be.
