Rich: LOL! OT: I couldn't have described GSM & CDMA any better meself. Good job!! Pssst...you should be watching some of the "action" that's going on in the industry over those two schema's right now. It's certainly interesting(at least to me). Anyway, the only thing I could think to add, and it probably wouldn't mean anything to those not conversant, would be that as it relates to CDMA, think spread spectrum. CDMA was originally designed for military communications purposes so that units could still talk to each other after a nuclear attack. It's a methodology used primarily to overcome background interference, and I guess you could say in a post nuclear attack world there'd be just a tad of.....uh......electromagnetic interference, eh? :-(
