RE: INTC et al Sonny: Are we all smiles, as the CPI is what?, up only .1%< WHAT A SHOCK... the shorts must've gotten squeeezed but good today, and they deserve it in spades. Monday evening I Posted and said to ALAN G. it's PRICES, stupid (paraphrasing Carville), but at least the scare of multiple price hikes are out of the psychology now. (I still think these rate hikes are unjustifiable historically); Congrats on AOL bouncing back. The big story is INTC imo. Heard Michael Holland and few others touting it, finally. I did feel it was basing for near term rise, but would love to see it breakthrough the 70's this summer, assuming July earnings are at least at expectations with good forward-looking projections. the PE of intc is well below the NASD 100. O.T. Our 5 negatives in the portfolio are Diamond Off(DO), 2 biotechs, and 2 Reits in the IRA, at least the latter pay 10+% dividends. The techs should be ready for another run, irrespective of the witches imo. Amat I am simply loving (again my thanks to Sonki), but Unisys (UIS) has been my baby for 22 months and is approaching the 40 mark, a quadruple, heard a buy rating from a broker who has met my target of $55 (hope that's not the kiss of death). thks for the encouragements on Nortel, it's been sweet, but may run out of steam near-term, altho today was nice 3 pt. move. the sleeper may be Nextel. I'm inching towards WGAT, but have to replace it with something and am not sure what. BTW. maybe my Xmas mistake shouldn't have been acknowledged, but 110 in 6mos, seems a bit too starry eyed, Intel investors, keep the faith. To others, as I said 2 days BEFORE the euphoria today, get intc NOW. Regards, Royco
