I wonder what these folks would do to prevent juries from exercising their conscience and common law right to nullify? There would have to be sanctions to change things.

There is a difference between them getting away with it, and even justifying it in extreme circumstances, and it being the correct way of behaving in ordinary circumstances, and something to encourage...
