I will take a stab at that- based on pure speculation- I do not believe even repeatedly thinking "bad" thoughts would be immoral- unless it caused you to commit immoral behavior. I think our minds are entirely private, and whatever goes on there is permissible- as it does no one else any harm- and I believe it is perfectly within one's rights, and not "immoral" (or terribly dysfunctional to society) to harm oneself. Of course I believe in the almost complete autonomy of the individual as long as that freedom harms no one else- and there is no more clear cut case of that then one's private thoughts. I realize I am at odds with the Catholic Church on this- but any Church that could make young boys and girls feel so bad about normal human sexuality I am HAPPY to be at odds with.
