I use MBTrading and have been very satisfied with them. As I am sure there are others who are satisfied with Cyber,Watley, Castle etc. If you are truly daytrading and are scalping in and out, in and out, you definitely need a direct order entry platform such as those mentioned above. My suggestion would be to "paper trade" first until you are able to really see the dynamics of Level II and the actions
of marketmakers and the intraday patterns of the market. If you choose to trade real money from the get-go, go small shares + or -
100-200 share lots until you learn the nuances of executed your trades.This will minimize your potential losses while allowing you to
develop the skills necessary to survive the learning curve.
