richard, true enough. you look at pld and fpgas and they seem to be doing well. adding mucho capacity to a dram market that is generating losses is not a long term solution. but hey, the old dogs don't seem to learn new tricks so maybe we continue...

Richard and threader, We are building a new house and want it wired for the future Electronics (Home theater, security, DVD, and other future electonics). Would those of you who have knowledge or sources of knowledge give me some information over my "Private Message" site as how I should approach the situation. I think, a long time ago, Big Bucks state, to install PVC pipe to run the wires through in order to replace them with ease. Other suggestions and sources would be appreciated. Here in Jefferson City, the contractors are not up with the latest in Electronics and what is happening now or in the next 15 years. How should I handle the telephone lines vrs cable or satellite Which is going to win out or will there be something new.

Thanks,

Paul
