Greg Re: --> Where's DELL in all this?????

Right where they need to be. The $16B deal should give them
good quantity pricing on the 37GP.

As for handhelds, Dell should eventually enter this market...
but you will lose your patience waiting... I estimate 12-18
months before we hear any noise about entering.

As mentioned before, this market is still very small from a
revenue standpoint, ~$1B, but poised to explode up to $10B in
a few years. However, it's quite possible that many CE based
devices won't be sold without a connectivity package where the
cost of the hardware is recouped over the period of 1-2 years.
Many of these devices will only cost ~$100 so they'll be
offerd as 'free' with the service. But in a few years, there
will be bazillions on the planet.

Dell is more focused on the $460B opportunity in the
largely untapped area of services. As a shareholder, I want
them to pursue this vigorously above all other
'outside the box' opportunities.
