JBL/SLR JBL's chart was posted in newsletter on Sunday and the chart appearing was from from Friday 6/11/99 and as it said the stock did enjoy a 4 + point gain since Friday and that "anticipation" is just what you would have gotten from JBL, nothing spectacular but it was a down nasdaq day on Monday and Tuesday.
JBL:

DATE CLOSING PRICE OPEN HIGH LOW VOLUME
-------- ------------- -------- -------- -------- -----------
6/15/1999 41 1/2 54 5/8 55 3/8 41 1,191,000
6/14/1999 53 9/16 52 3/8 54 51 3/4 922,200
6/11/1999 51 50 51 3/4 50 495,800

SLR had a longer term gains and was on the watch list AS well as the calendar and buy triggers were called earlier..

marketgems.com. Actually yes,SLR was superior to JBL but as for predicting a FUTURE shortfall its like predicting an 'accident' waiting to happen, and I don't think the charts could have 'included' that. Its much like PVN having had that selling pressure from the news of some possible 'fraud'.... In fact it was ORCL that showed a little negativity today before its report and I would have expected that from JBL. I've been in and out of SLR not even holding for a 'straight' length of time same as with CMVT.

buy trigger was on June 4th..SLR

Watch List for June 4, 1999

Keep an eye on older earnings plays NLCS did really well
today and BBOX is on a consistant uptrend for weeks now.
It is not a coincidence that these NASDAQ stocks are up in
a very dismal nasdaq market. TOM should be watched tomorrow morning
for a possible play on earnings.
