Another potetial home run for wireless is the potential to solve at least some of the "last mile" telecom problems. Since QCOM sold it's innfrastructure business I guess it's not a player

Lucius, this is exactly the problem Q just solved. It was posted on the Q thread as an article in the last few days.

What they did was set up CDMA to run all data between buildings of a company at full bandwidth without having to put in all the routers. It is a major advance, IMO.

It is just too damn late at nite for me to look it up on the Q thread, so you will have to do it yourself! :0)
