My impression is that MEO announced the JV a good deal earlier than it had originally wished to -- but that the company's hand was forced by the zoom-up in share-price. In other words, the deal was announced before all their ducks were in a row. From my discussions with management and other MEO people, the set-up of net-locate.com is proceeding as in the first plan. -- Bob Basil
