No problem with my installation just slow access for the past week and they keep telling me my connection is ok.NOT.That was a great renactment of your installation though.

I used the @home cable modem for 2 month. Every week it was down at least once and in the last week that I had it, it was down at some point every single day during the trading day for a week. I blew a gasket and got ADSL instead. It has worked flawlessly. The phone man was over for 30 minutes and it was done.

Cable modems are like fire exits in a burning theatre - only a few get out. The rest die stuck in the doorway.
