>>. Where did you get shares? <<

Being retired, I do not do as much trading as many of you guys. I am still in the horse and buggy stage and do not have an on-line account. I use a broker at Piper Jaffray whom I have used for some 27 years now. I do not always succeed in getting all the shorts I want (like CCSI) for instance but he does a good job for me in most instances.

Using a broker I more often go for the Wexler type of short and watch them die slowly. This week however I had done well with CUST which I shorted at 44 and in two days it is now 33! Should I cover???
Not asking you, just asking myself.

BTW, I shorted WEBB awhile back at 12 and change. It finally has gone down to 10 7/8. IMO, they have no unique product (Web Site Development Tools), is being promoted by Livitias (sp?) who seems to always end up with companies that are about to die, did have some big supporters on the YAHOO board (usually a good sign) who are slowly giving up, and their financial picture is dismal. Have you heard of them? I think it is a great short but if I was as smart as I like to think, I would be very rich. Since I am not I can only conclude that I am not as smart as I would like.

In the meantime go ZONA, ALTIF, ASTN, SCRM.
