I lived for 5 years in LA and will never return, even for a visit to Disneyland. >>> You just rebutted your own claims. The consumer is driving the sprawling expansion of the suburbs. With the hot real estate, many of the homes are sold well before they're completed. It's about as effective as people arguing about how awful the environment is, yet people are throwing trash all over the national parks or recreation areas whereever I've gone.
