Business Wire - June 16, 1999 08:18
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 16, 1999--

Factory Upgrade Service Now Available

MigraTEC, Inc. (OTC BB:MIGR-news) today announced the availability of its new software technology which automates the process of upgrading software applications which run on the Microsoft Corporation (Nasdaq:MSFT) and Intel (Nasdaq:INTC) operating system (the "Wintel" platform). It is estimated that there over 15,000 independent software vendors (ISVs) who market software programs designed to run on the Wintel platform who will need to address the task of upgrading their software programs from 32 to 64-bit in conjunction with the release of Windows 2000. MigraTEC's new technology automates the process of making changes to customers' existing software applications so they will more fully utilize the increased capabilities of the Wintel 64-bit operating system. MigraTEC's 32 to 64-bit upgrade "factory" service is now available to serve the needs of both independent software vendors (ISVs) as well as companies with internally-developed software applications currently written in 32-bit format.
