Monolpolies are good for competition!?! <sheez> I've been a lurker in this group for a while but can no longer ignore comments like this. If you'd taken any kind of Economic classes you would understand that a monopoly stifles free enterprise. This is one of the areas in which free enterprise breaks down. Furthermore, I don't believe that Milton ever advocated that we let monopolies run unchecked. If you believe that he is saying this then maybe you can point us to where he has written that down.
