Monolpolies are good for competition!?! <sheez>

I've been a lurker in this group for a while but can no longer ignore comments like this. If you'd taken any kind of Economic classes you would understand that a monopoly stifles free enterprise. This is one of the areas in which free enterprise breaks down. Furthermore, I don't believe that Milton ever advocated that we let monopolies run unchecked. If you believe that he is saying this then maybe you can point us to where he has written that down.

Black-Scholes: you appear to be the whiner. You're effectively saying that MSFT is not a monopoly and whining about the application of existing antitrust laws. Your HOGWASH continues and will more than likely not abate.
