Speaking of "looking 6-9 months down the road EPS wise", here are some projected P/Es from yesterday's San Jose Mercury News. These are based on the next 12 months' estimated earnings, from Institutional Brokers Estimate System (IBES). Stock Monday's Projected Close P/E AMAT 66 27 KLAC 54 3/8 31 NVLS 63 27 SVGI 14 5/8 38 Compared to the S&P 500, some of these don't look out of line, considering the average growth rate of the industry. Of course they will be higher at today's closing prices.
