<re: intelligent speculator...>

My sexist attitudes are now confirmed. The intelligent speculator guy I was welcoming to the thread? Teresa!

There were some more points I was making to the "mom from school" -

7. "Why are there so many charts of the same thing on your screen?"

Because multiple time frames are really important.

8. "Huh?"

There are different waves in the market. Some are large and some are small. This is why we look at time frames like yearly, weekly, daily, hourly, etc...to see how the tide is coming in...

9. "Huh?"

Uh, think of the market as a giant babushka doll, all nestled together in a big one...and so it is with the market..."

10. "Oh, I see. I'll be back on Wednesday. Would you like me to bring you a nice short-decaf-non-fat-latte-macchiato?

No - I don't drink coffee. Thanks.

Just want to second your opinion of IntelligentSpeculator.com .... we first met on the web well over a year ago, and since then her site has pretty much been my home during the day. The site has been through some changes of direction and focus, but everything presented has been top notch AND about as objective as humanly possible. She definitely strives to take TA to its limits -- which, oddly enough, turns out to be found in simplifying the approach ... sort of a martial arts kind of perspective, I guess.
