To Marden: Chuckle. Well put. Much as I try to keep the past in the past, it does seem to color my thinking I guess. It isn't so much a fondness or lack thereof but a question of respect. I will keep trying. I was reminded of how it would be if on the arrival of a new child, the parents thought (or even worse said), well, another mouth to feed. Sure, that is true. And yes, Ericsson has 1,300 new employees to pay. But is that the way you would like to be welcomed into the Ericsson family? Hope that there is a more positive welcome in fact. And maybe that we be evident at some point. I hope so. As always, Best personal regards. Chaz

Mardy and others interested in the technology,

The Ericsson Yahoo! thread is getting pretty good!! A topic is thrown out and then there are follow ups, which can be quite enlightening. The current topic started on WAP and that moved to extended wireless services. For example, to show how much more advanced things are in some places in the world, check this site:

gin.nl

Basically get any info you want over the phone.
