To All,

I've followed WIND, nervously now for several years. The main concern for me - and it seems for the rest of the market - has always been Win CE. Will Win CE ever possess enough "hard" RTOS capabilities to present a competitive threat to this company's lead in the mission critical market? A secondary question is that even if Win CE can't compete in that market, will it take so much of the rest of the market, that they seriously diminish WIND's overall opportunity.

I have a question for this group. Do any of us know of any "hard" RTOS development planned for the Win CE environment. Specifically, does anyone know about Qualcomm's plans for it's future Win CE smart phone. I don't mean the new cellphone/Palm Pilot. I'm referring to their announcement during the initial WirelessKnowedge meeting. It seems to me it would be real helpful to know if Qualcomm intends to have Win CE control the cellphone operations, as well as the computer functions.

I offer this question because if I knew the answer it would allay my fears.
