Darned if I know, but they won't handle a roll-out order for less than 5 contracts. The rep I talked to said there was a lot of manual handling on a spread transaction so they set a minimum. At that point, I just bought back my covered calls and then resold them after the first transaction was confirmed.

btw, I've had very good luck with my Fidelity account, which I've had since 1994. All my orders have executed on a timely basis, I get charged $15/order as an active trader, and their website has never failed me.

Jon, I went back and checked my records and found I was wrong; Fidelity requires a minimum of 10 contracts on a spread order.
