There are fewer atheists in prison than members of any other religious 'denomination.'

That is because a prisoner wanting parole is not going to tell the parole board "I don't believe in God." The immediate perception of a God fearing parole board is that the prisoner is telling them "I am an anarchist and in the end my crimes mean nothing anyway"

Could that be because there are so few atheists period! How can there be a lot in prison when there aren't a lot to put in prison.
