Scumbria:

Great series of posts explaining potential value of Rambus memory design, and what a "narrow bus" means. As a non-computer maven, who has nonetheless owned 9 computers over the years, tinkered with them and upgraded them, even I could understand your meaning. I really appreciate the time you took to explain this. Is the strategy of multiple busses, each dedicated to separate computer parts, one that has been outlined by Rambus engineers, or which Intel or boxmakers have confirmed as being part of the plan for future computer development? Or is it presently a logical step that you anticipate will someday take place?
