Hey, glad you had fun, again...Neocon, as I just posted, hasn't the understanding of Freedom I think he needs...and his implied comparison of Economic Socialism to Social Freedom- he expects BOTH to fail as per his idea of what's right- will come back to bite him(well, it already has, he just hasn't realized the implications of what you've reported yet). Freedom is more powerful than he knows both Economically AND Socially. Goodnight, Dan B

I am glad that you enjoyed yourself, but it is immaterial to the discussion. As for the crime rates, European cities often have lower crime rates than the United States, for reasons that are widely debated, regardless of whether they permit drug use. Sweden and Switzerland, the most socialist and the most capitalist countries in Western Europe,have had the highest per capita income for most of the post- War period. No one has quite figured out why their performance was so similar for so long, except for the common factor of neutrality. Figuring out what the statistics mean is often tough...
