According to Taiwanese paper, UMC made the decision to merge
all its parts only in the last 2 weeks and the CEO didn't tell
no one, none of the six US companies that own shares.

I hope Potts didn't sell all those shares cheap, he deserves
rich reward, not that he needs it after his Maxwell stint.
