You're correct....very few Gorillas will emerge, but along the way there will be some pretty solid Kings and Princes. What I find most useful in the book is not in the individual picks, but in the disciplined approach to making them....starting with markets, then proceeding to the stocks. I feel the tendency, by some, to label niche leaders as Gorillas is particularly dangerous. NTAP would be a good example of that possibility, though there's no doubt (in my mind) the company will reward us handsomely for the next 3 to 5 years. After that, I see no enduring attraction. There will undoubtedly be some other more attractive category that will attract money away from NTAP.
