Netscape and American Express Announce Two Year Multi-Million Dollar Sponsorship Agreement Targeting Small Businesses
Agreement Brings American Express Services to the Netscape Small Business Channel on Netcenter

AOL and the American Express Company AXP today announced a two-year multi-million dollar sponsorship agreement that will bring American Express financial services to small businesses through the Small Business Channel on Netcenter (http://home.netscape.com/netcenter/smallbusiness/businessfinance/index.html). With small businesses representing a third of Netscape Netcenter's 15 million registrants, the Netscape Small Business Channel combined with American Express services creates a powerful credit and finance resource for this growing business community. Recently expanded in March, the Netscape Small Business Channel on Netcenter simplifies the Internet and provides small businesses with easy one-stop access to the quality content and tools they need in order to manage and grow a successful business online. American Express will be a premier sponsor within the Netscape Small Business Channel giving American Express exposure through premier placements, banners ads and ad impressions. For Netscape, the agreement secures a premier sponsor for the Business Finance department, expands the range of "best-of-breed" services offered to small businesses on the Netscape Small Business Channel and provides incentives to Netscape for generating business for American Express. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
