Very good analogy, and I wouldn't disagree with any of it except possibly the degree of QCOM control over the standards. There is a gg e-mail discussion group, and one e-mail using a qualcomm.com address made the statement "QCOM didn't give up ANY proprietary control over CDMA because it never had any in the first place. CDMA is standards based..."
Nasdaq up 64 points a few minutes after open!! QCOM within 3 points of all time high. I hope it lasts...
