Oh that guy. Yes he made 50mm on Dell, a highly leveraged position. Now probably around 30mm. Hes well known on the Dell thread for inquisitive comments such as "aren't you tired of all these amateurs trading their own accounts", and "go Dell". Really, he is one of my least favorite people on SI. He did make one comment once that was interesting... apparently he knew of or was working with Merrill in the early 90s... the traders in house were buying Dell for their own accounts while publiicly pushing cpq (I guess Merrill was an underwriter or something) and promoting cpq with strong buy recommendations. Of course we all know this goes on but to hear it from someone who was actually there is affirming.
