Why the constant MGAU versus MAN thing? I've made money out of both in the past 3 years -- and also even on IPM <g>. Just out of interest, the weekly chart of MAN for the past year doesn't look too shabby:

It seems to me that there are both trading and investment opportunities in many of these stocks. The key thing is to match your objectives (in terms of ROI, timelines, diversification, etc.) with the particular stocks you trade and to be able to live with the volatility. IMO there is no such thing as a "good or bad" stock -- there are only investment decisions.
