Way OT YES!

For the first 5 years after my son was born, if he got sick, I got sick, and I mean each and every time..........my wife however was never bothered. To this day, and he is now 20, our immune systems are still in tune. I can say however after the age of 5, things greatly improved. Sorry, I sure this is not what you want to hear but was nevertheless the case in our home. Good luck.

I'm sorry you are sick :-(

My friend Linda swears she has been sick for 4 years strait! Her son just turned 4 and every sneeze that comes from his little nose is an omen sign to her health...

Parenting, that's what it is...

Luckily, Sammie doesn't give me puppy colds.

NAZZdaddy---you should have demanded that the wife nurse for 2 years minimum. We never had a sniffle until after...

BTW--You ain't seen nothing yet. Every August when school resumes we get hit hard. Teach the little fellow to cover his mouth/nose and avoid all the un-civilized hackers in his peer group. I know this might be premature given his age, but start ASAP.
VERY IMPORTANT/MOST IMPORTANT --hand washing..teach it ASAP as well. Frequent and thorough handwashing is of the utmost importance.

All that said..The greatest word in the world is DADDY. You have some fantastic experiences on the horizon. Try to savor every moment, my friend, for time passes so very quickly for us Daddies.
