STEP 2 SBTK AUDITOR RESIGNATION/RESTATEMENT OF FINANCIALS

SBTK's auditor will face a choice today. They have been informed of these allegations of fraud during the '98 period for which they expressed their accounting opinion. Thus, they MUST investigate the matter or face liability for failing to do so, as investors rely on their Audit Opinion to make investment decisions.

So, does KPMG stand by SBTK and their apparent "manufactured accounting", in which case they become liable, or do they dump SBTK as a client and pull their opinion on the '98K - in which case it is likely SBTK stock gets halted for 4-6 months?

In the real scheme of things SBTK is nothing but a rinky dink account for them with a history of failing to play by the rules.

How tough do you think that decision will be?
