don't think it has anything to do with any analyst comment specifically about dell...the market is rewarding forward vision as in ibm, hwp who have spoken, the new dell mantra growing faster then the s+p has been warmly received with "so what"...guess we all have to wait for whatever is "coming out of the box" (whatever that means)
the "perception" of being the greatest pc maker ever in history means less then being the future backbone of the internet...just a thought on why dell remains at the moment out of favor

re:oppenheimer again...of course it was cnbc that splashed the negative thing on tv right as the market was about to open..at that time dell was trading up as high as 35 3/4..this means nothing more than b.s. manipulation..
