Panic buying is notching up a bit. I have to say I would never have believed the cpi would come in flat. No way.

The ag situation is interesting. If the fed does nothing, it MAY be seen as inflationary, and drive bond rates up. This will slow the economy. If they drop 1/4, the long bond yield could go down as it is seen as deflationary. This is turning the argument upside down, I know, but it allows them to manipulate the bond market.
