<Ten - re: As usual, this statement is typical of AMD supporters, where their goal is not AMD's prosperity, but Intel's demise. Even if you didn't mean it that way, you sure sound like it.>

I was responding to the Intel holders referring to AMD stock as options that are about to expire.

<I'll bet you're not sitting on the "valuation time bombs" of Internet stocks, or even of MSFT, DELL, and CSCO. To me, they have a much bigger downside potential than INTC (although I hope not for DELL, since I have a holding in them).>

I do have MSFT. But you and I know why INTC is much more risky than the three you mentioned. K7 is the reason. Even if AMD has a 50% chance of a successful k7 ramp, that translates to a 50% chance of major problems for INTC holders.

Kap.

PS. Got some July INTC puts today

The whole market is riding a time bomb. The bomb has already started
to drop on the Internet stocks, DELL and especially the MORON, CPQ.
I do agree that MFST and INTC should fare better than most.
So the DOW is up 160 today. It's still 500 off the top.
The CPI says no inflation. This is baloney. Go price a house, building materials, gasoline, NON-CPI food items. They are going through the roof. Prices are being raised and there is little resistance. The greed frenzy is just heating up.
