Joe:

Thanks for your response. Glad to see that you think there's not a lot to be gained by doing the "MGAU versus MAN" thing.

But that doesn't mean that there should be no discussion on this thread of the pros and cons of MGAU. There've been plenty of negative comments, discussion and frustrations aired on the MAN thread over the past couple of years -- about the delays, not meeting expected deadlines, political risk, etc. That's how it should be, IMO, unless we're playing games just promoting our pet rock <g>.

<<Maybe I did it here just to get people like you to bring to his attention that he isn't accomplishing anything accept to use his professional (for pay) position to knock a stock and offend others>>

I don't think CC needs people like me to bring anything to his attention. Nor do I see him as "knocking" MGAU. He's asking legitimate questions and others on the thread are responding.

I have to say Joe that I think you have a short memory. You and I were on Compuserve S10 for years before SI came along and long before CC had a newsletter. S10 had a lot of critical comment on all the stocks discussed, and my memory is that CC was consistently the clearest and fairest commentator. That's why he was encouraged to start a newsletter! (Maybe you were one of us who encouraged him).

To say now that he has to keep quiet because he has some unanswered questions about MGAU or because he doesn't agree with the party-faithful doesn't make sense. After all, they are claiming to own what would be the largest pm deposit on the planet! I for one am delighted he's following the progress of MGAU. The reason I made (for me) good money on IPM and MAN was because I followed CC's advice on doing my own dd and taking profits after a good run up.

To just put your trust in what the management of a company is saying is burying your head in the desert dirt IMO <vbg>.

<<Hope MAN goes to the moon>>

Me too!

Same for MGAU. So far I'm just trading it. But I'm keeping an eye out and I'll make sure I've got a position if it looks like it's leaving the earth's atmosphere!

Regards and best of luck,
Howy
