Glen,
One of the reasons they gave was that MD said a while back that he would never sell low cost PC's and also said it would be cheaper to buy retail and pay the sales tax then pay $95.00 delivery charge.
That is not true, DELL did NOT charge me for delivery and we did not pay sales tax either.

You know things change everyday and what was good 6 months ago, may not be good today. A smart CEO would reevaluate and do exactly what MD did. That's why they have erasers on pencils and backspace and del on computers. VBG. We will be just fine.

If you live in a state with sales tax, you are supposed to pay sales tax. Some states should get Dell's database of sales to people and businesses in their state and go after the buyers for sales tax. Dell does not have to collect the sales tax under the present arrangement

Of course, one way or another you are paying for shipping.
