. . . . . On Internuts. . . . . Hey, anyone work on comparing volume and other factors as I pointed out for the purpose of getting clear indication, concerning the Inets? Our buy of DCLK at 69 is looking pretty nice here in the mid 80's. And I even ADDED to my ATHM position, which started where? 82? Remember tomorrow they split 2 for 1. . . and I see the current momentum overpowering any effects of dilution. . . in shorter words . . . . "I think we still go up from here." As for the rest of the Inet leaders, as we discussed in my last post. . .they seem to be very strong and building, whereas the rest of the pack is lagging. . . . again an indication of fund managers building positions. Then, as if we needed hit over the head yesterday. . .CNBC does a special after market close. . . illustrating the many internet oriented mutual funds. . . and interviewing their managers. . . who one after another said that yesterday, they began once again taking large positions in certain internet issues. . . .most of those listed are on our watch boards. So the only question remaining is this: "Does the fact that fund managers are jumping in with both feet mean that we should?" Well, in my experience, I've learned to follow the money and trade with the tape. . . bucking the market can be hazerdous to your portfolios. So I am already looking for further pullbacks or buying dips. . .but ONLY on the leaders as we discussed. I am staying FAR away from second and third tier Inets. . . .which I think will still see major declines through the summer. The leaders will no doubt get more downward action. . .but in my estimate, we are 3 quarters of the way out of the water. . . . if we were to see Inet corrections lower than we have just seen. . .I think they would be VERY short lived and be followed by VERY quick and hard bounces. I don't expect to see "All is well for Inets" type articles in the near future. . . and in fact, I expect just the opposite. . . news-driven panic-making moves to further shake shares of the "best" from the hands of the weak. Panic-selling followed by massive volume-buying. Stay smart. Rande Is
