Isn't anyone bothered by the fact that this guy has managed to convince absolutely everyone that he is George W. Bush, and not George W. Bush, Jr. This kind of sneeky manipulation is what frightens me about this guy.

Consumer spending went off a cliff when Desert Shield started. Everyone was expecting a war instead of a rout. You can add Clinton who raided a bank and an S&L for the S&L crisis. Also John McCain. Number of roadways is a meaningless measure since much of the building of roads is in extending and improving existing roadways to handle more traffic. Not everyone sits on his butt popping pimples all day. Real estate agents, pizza deliverers, handymen, construction laborers, and many other jobs require cars. There is no one size fits all solution.
