IBM +30.9 %

T + 7.5 %

WMT + 9.0 %

C +39.2 %

MRK - 6.9 %

==========================

total = +15.9 % SPY = + 9.4 %

==========================

OTOH, the "textbook" model portfolio...

40% QQQ + 40% SPY + 20% bondz @ 8.5% = +12.5% YTD

...kinda puny for a trading machine like you, but WTH (^_^)

FWIW, best/worst performers YTD in each sector (from my CORE)...

AMAT +64.4 % techstox DELL = - 2.1 %

NOK +39.5 % telecom T = + 7.5 %

BBY +84.4 % retail HD = - 4.7 %

EGRP +204.6 % financial STT = +15.2 %

BGEN +40.4 % drugz PFE = -20.7 %

====================================================

...interesting to note that AMAT = "SEMI-EQUIP" and NOK = "TEL-EQUIP"
and so are capital investment-driven; BBY is really the off-shore
warehouse for "Japan, Inc"; EGRP was turbocharged by internet frenzy;
and BGEN (also IMNX) was not clobbered along with other pharmas.

So what are you and Berney playing with nowadays ?
