It looks like MyTalk may have been designed to offer additional services (presumably fee-based) in addition to e-mail. If you try to use some Portico commands like "Open my address book" or "Open my newspaper", she tells you that your account is not set up for that. My guess is they will eventually let the free-customers opt to pay to add certain Portico features, like the new fax-support module, or synching with PalmPilot address book. Toss some cool Kenya applications into the mix and anything's possible...
