Dear G-PARR: I do not know the answer without researching it as this is not a common occurrence for me at least. The IRS booklet for Schedule D capital gains ought to supply you with the answer. If I get a chance will try and look it up also. Since I am now retired I dont have the sources available to me that I once had. JDN

While there isn't a simple yes/no answer, if you had capital gains on your TAVA holdings, you *will* have some tax exposure.
