Technically there was a small gap opening at 21 11/16 on June 9 from the June 8 close of 21 1/2. We may be looking at closing or nearly closing that gap (hey, we've already "nearly" closed it with today's low). Or, fundamentally, and this does concern me, I've been in Atmel before when bad news has been "anticipated by the market" and those smart enough to guess right (!) have been out of the stock by the time the news hit. As you might infer, I'm trying to avoid saying, someone out there may know more than and before the rest of us do. Or this might just be an innocuous profit-taking. Cheers/t
