OT>> You be addicted bad Joe, do you mean because I woke at 4:30am to check out the CPI numbers, snuck off to Peabody's Jazz and Coffee Shop in Palm Springs to logon, read the news, study the market, make some trades. . . .then crawled back into bed before 7:30am. . . . . . LOL. . .

. . ."Look, honey. . . . . . .scones."

You should see my routine when I am composing music for a TV show or video or producing an act . . . I work 18 hour days for as long as it takes to get the job done on time. . . in fact, I don't even take phone calls, while I am busy on a project. . .I just call everyone back on Saturday afternoon. . . I remember 2 years where I averaged 4 hours of sleep per night [most nights were zero sleep with a crash on Sundays. . .with ONLY coffee and donuts to keep me going]. . . now that can lead to burn out. . . which it eventually did.

To me, keeping up on the stock market is simple by comparison. . .heck trading is just 6 1/2 hours per day [and I won't be there when they extend hours. . . tho I might start trading PRE-market soon]. . . . what a life.

I typically put in 2 hours studying each morning before the market opens. . . and at least a half hour after trading stops. . . but often take a break in the middle of the trading day. . .so that is between 6 and 9 hours typically. . . and seldom more than 12 hours total per day. . . that gives me 12 to 18 hours to do other things. . . .

Yesterday and today were pivotal trading days. . . so I have given them more attention than usual.

Generally, while on vacation. . .I cut WAY back on my trading. . . like one hour in the morning and a half hour in the afternoon on important days. . .less on non-important ones. . . . but I still put in at least an hour of study in the morning and I bring some reading materials wherever I go, in case I get stuck in the slow lane while driving. . . . or if too much time passes between waves. <VBG>

Had a great idea yesterday. Had wife's 13 and 16 year old daughters doll up and sit at their "own" table at TGI Fridays. . . order whatever they wanted. . . and just be cool. . . .while we were on the other side of restaurant, so as not to interfere with the natural course of whatever it is they do. But thanks to the digital zoom on my Hi-8 camera. . . they can view for themselves, how they appear to . . .well . . . the boys.

A good time was had by all. . . .including veteran film composer Paul Dunlap, in whose honor we gathered.

Joe, if there were ever a candidate for a wearable broadband wireless internet product. . . it is I. That way, I could go back to running my own errands. . . you know, standing in line at the post office. . .or getting caught behind the lady with the coupons at the grocery. . . or in gridlock. . .like everyone else.

Wait a minute. I thought change was good. <smirk>

. . .off to nap . . .
