Steeny, I guess you must have missed the Swan Dive of the Euro
< GGG>!!! Didn't you see it?? It dove down like a lead baloon from
it's debut Jan 1 1999. How could you miss it? It was like a meteorite lighting Wall Street.

The Europeans don't trust their own currency and we should?

GDP of Europe= 85% of the US's and yes it is going staight in to the Goverment coffers to pay for gold plated healthcare ( park in the hospital for a month ),birth to cradle welfare, time-off, vacation, coffee breaks...on and on. Guess what, at the end of the
month, somehow, there seems to be no money left to buy anything less.
I don't think they'll be buying too many PCs any time soon.

The issue here is the US of A and who grabs cyberspace.

I see AOL with

-coast to coast plumbing
-including THE FAMOUS LAST MILE, gg, reminds me of Rodeo Drive, gg
-DSL high speed
- pocket browsers, PDAs, with wireless AOL everywhere, as in " take it with you" ( have you ever tried hauling a truckload of cable-fiber in your briefcase? )

AKA, King Kong AOL,

TA
