-OT- Miscellaneous: 1. Todays rally reportedly was worth an extra $288 Billion or around $100 for every man, woman, and child in the U.S. Gives one some idea of the kind of #s being talked about regarding the wealth effect and its real and psychological impact on consumer spending. This was just one good day out of many exceptional years. 2. Didn't seem todays rally in bonds was as strong as it should have been coming off an oversold condition and how good the inflation numbers were on the face of it. 3. Seems like SFE lagged a bit as it was barely up in % terms more than Citigroup, American Express, GM, and IBM. Not trying to be greedy, but Internet were the stars of the day and SFE lagged substantially. May or may not mean anything. My post today [Wed.]... "SFE to the MOOOON" was initiated at the exact intraday high. Day traders can now look to that as an exit point and contrary indicator should it happen again. <g> Mike
