I've got ideas sure, AOL is my favorite net stock that will lead us back and the institutions are happy to get back into the stock in the 90's. I only have 200 but will accumulate up to 700 and turn it into a core holding (much like DELL was 18 months ago). I also like 'quality internets' 2nd favorite is YHOO, INKT, GNET, VRSN,NSOL, NITE, BVSN but it depends on how 'deep' the resurrection goes. If its all emcompassing then the IPO's like HLTH, SILK, and that bunch will probably be on the move once again. I'd personally rather that the select ones will move the best than a 'free for all' once again. I'd prefer to forego the 'huge gains' from the IPO's and everything with .com and go for selective internets. I find myself looking at the ones that 'beat last quarter'.. YHOO, AMZN, AOL,INKT,LCOS,BVSN, GNET, VRSN, DCLK, NSOL, NTBK, NITE, EXDS, VERT... hopefully the second tier ones like

Something else I've learned is that 'internet related' sectors like the telecoms, bandwidth, software (MACR,ERTS,ADBE,INTU, EFII) CHIPS...CHIPs and companies like RIMM, QLGC, QCOM etc., etc. are more preferrable, with uptrends lasting longer and downtrends shorter than the nets. I must say the palm pilot is spectacular and the last time I 'fell in love' with something it was the digital LCD monitor and that has 'taken off'.. so all these new dodads which will make internets available all over besides our 'old venerable computers' should be great also.
