I like the Stoics: Marcus Aurelius and Epictetus. And I like the Taoists. Both systems espouse Right Action without any belief in an external Higher Authority.

I believe in Doing the Right Thing, whether or not God is waiting to see what you do. I like what Danny Glover said in "Do The Right Thing" - you know what it is, it's what your grandmother told you to do. If you just do that, you'll be alright.
