MOT great looking chart seems to shoot itself in the foot all the time made bad investment and use of man power on pie in the sky sat. Iridium, back much of the debt., lost much of the cell biz. and pager biz. to others, sold a lot of it's semi biz., misfired with power pc, Family own almost and run by family, blew it when Fisher left has come back strong, of lately. Why buy any cell biz. other then QCOM or PCS??? That's just off the top of my head, I haven't followed the company other then it's chart..

Judy,

a few problems with MOT from an ex-shareholder -

MOT management has proven to be not very innovative and like to shoot themselves in foot. I think MOT and HWP are the worst managed tech giants in the last few years.

MOT has lots of garbage. Yes, they are finally getting out of some of the semiconductor commodity stuff, the pagers etc. However, they have Iridium but more importantly, they are the sole supplier to Nextel. Nextel can easily be left out in the cold and ends up being some type of a niche player only.

At best, MOT is just a mediocre telecom company and, just my opinion, not worthy of serious consideration as an investment when something like QCOM is available. At current price, MOT is more over valued than LU or NT.

My 2 cents.
