That is Ballard's viewpoint; that is why Ballard is trying to produce 250 kW fc's for stationary power. You don't think Ballard could come up with a better and cheaper 7 kW unit than Plug Power if it thought there was any real market there?

Forget molten carbonate, if you want. One 250 kW PEM unit to serve 36 homes has to be way cheaper than 36 individual 7 kW fc units, with 36 batteries, 36 reformers, 36 inverters, 36 visits by electricians and plumbers to hook up the electric and gas, etc., doesn't it?
